Meet Your New Board Members

Norm Passmore, DDS, Dayton

 

Norm Passmore is a practicing dentist in Dayton, WA. He is a board member with Columbia County Health Systems, the Dayton Chamber of Commerce, Dayton Economic Development Steering Committee Touchet Valley Arts Council, Columbia County Oral Health Coalition, Community Council in Walla Walla, and Main Street Dayton Charities.

 

 

Nancy Nash, Omak

 

Nancy Nash currently serves as Cultural Resource Manager at Mid-Valley Hospital in Omak, Washington. Previously, she served as Cultural Competency Trainer for Washington State Public Hospitals and Rural Health Care Workers, and she also hosted a weekly radio program focused on Latino health. She is also a co-founder of the Latino Health and Wellness Coalition for Okanogan County, and is a member of the Washington Health Foundation’s Health Disparities Advisory.

John Hanson, Olympia


John R. Hanson is the Rural Health Specialist with the Office of Community and Rural Health, Washington State Department of Health. John is a veteran health care administrator with over 30 years of experience managing health care facilities and programs in Washington State.

Harry Jasper, Pomeroy


Harry S. Jasper is the founder of ‘Share Your Health’, an online health challenge that promotes public health through prevention techniques. Share Your Health motivates without dictating behavior and real improvement is achieved.

Continuing board member John McLean of Blue Room (Spokane) accepted a two-year term as a State Association Council (SAC) Representative from WRHA, joining Kris Sparks of the Department of Health, Office of Community and Rural Health (Olympia), who is continuing her term. SAC representatives participate in the National Rural Health Association’s State Association Council, communicating and collaborating frequently with other state associations and with the national association.
